Demlin, Svarnahelm's Towering, Corporate Heart
Demlin is the sleek, towering, corporate heart of Svarnahelm, an autonomous metropolis filled with arcanomechanical wonders. Ruthless archons compete with one another in stone skyscrapers while mages, corrupt police officers, and amoral freelancers fight proxy wars on the city streets. Race financial sages on levitating rickshaws, sabotage pneumatic postal tubes, and ride fliplifts up to elegant penthouses. In this golden commercial hub, contracts and corporate conquerors control the city's destiny.
Demlin is just one district in our massive megacity Svarnahelm, an island metropolis in which megacorporations control every facet of daily life. This particular district is an exception in Svarnahelm, a region in which gold really does make life better for the average citizen... so long as you're rich. This is fantasy Manhattan on steroids.
As your players explore DEmlin, they might:
- Stage a corporate coup
- Plan a heist in the vaults of the city's central bank
- Behold a ledger of every social connection in the city
- Race business executives on levitating rickshaws

Maps

We have interior maps for each of the district's five megacorp HQs. Needless to say, the gleaming golden vaults of Blynka's Reserve stand in stark contrast to the brutalist halls of Fort Hornward, and both pale in comparison to Rokter Tower, the city's highest structure.
Run Demlin your way with our slew of variants. We've got plenty of canonical variants: sunset, nighttime, winter, fog, and rain will help you change up the mood for traditional Demlin adventures. Alternatively, reinterpret the setting altogether with our desert or skyport variants.

Music
Demlin's music is all hustle and bustle. Pulsing woodwinds, insistent jazzy ride cymbals, and gradually morphing harmonies present as 50% Gershwin, 50% Reich. This isn't just metropolis music, it's gleaming and idyllic metropolis music... with a massive dose of irony underpinning it all.
